Terms of use

Last updated November 2, 2026

These terms cover your use of Presto: the website, the web, desktop and mobile apps, the browser extension and the sync service. Presto is run by Nai Digital (“we”). By using Presto, you agree to these terms and to ourprivacy policy.

Using Presto

You can use Presto for your own reading. Please don’t misuse it: don’t try to break or overload the service, get around its limits, access other people’s accounts, or use it to store or share content you don’t have the right to.

Your books and content

You own what you import. You’re responsible for having the right to the books, documents and pages you add, and Presto doesn’t remove copy protection (DRM). If you use sync, you allow us to store and copy your content only as needed to sync it to your devices. We don’t claim any ownership of it.

The free classics are public-domain books from Standard Ebooks, which dedicates its editions to the public domain.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You can delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Library sync and paid features

Syncing your library is currently available to invited testers. If it becomes a paid subscription, its price, renewal and cancellation terms will be shown before you buy, and purchases in the App Store or Google Play also follow their terms. Storage per account is limited (currently 5 GB, and up to 100 MB per file).

Availability and changes

We work to keep Presto running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Reading works offline from what’s on your device, so keep your own copies of books that matter to you. We may change or stop features; if we ever shut down sync, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice so you can keep your books on your devices.

No warranty and limits of liability

Presto is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data beyond what we can restore. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above, and for significant changes we’ll tell you in the app before they apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
